Welcome to Resumo (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Resumo’s AI-powered system design interview practice platform, including all associated websites, APIs, features, and services (“Service”).
By using Resumo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Resumo provides an AI-driven environment for practicing system design interviews, including but not limited to: AI interviewers and evaluators; scenario-based or custom prompts; automated scoring, feedback, and recommendations; logging, analytics, and performance reports. This Service is intended solely for educational and practice purposes. Resumo does not guarantee job placement, interview outcomes, or the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated responses.
You must: be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction); have the authority to agree to these Terms; and not be prohibited from receiving services under applicable laws. If you are using Resumo on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, for all activity under your account, and for providing accurate and up-to-date information. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Resumo uses third-party and proprietary AI models to generate interview questions, follow-ups, evaluations, summaries and rubrics, and suggested improvements. You acknowledge and agree that AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or inappropriate; Resumo is not liable for any decisions you make based on AI output; AI responses are generated automatically, without human moderation; you should independently verify important information, especially technical or architectural recommendations; and you will not rely on Resumo as a source of professional advice (legal, technical, financial, or otherwise).
You may submit code, text, diagrams, designs, or other materials (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your content. By using the Service, you grant Resumo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, store, and analyze your content; use it to deliver the Service (e.g., model context, evaluation); and improve the functionality of Resumo. We do not sell your content to third parties. You represent that your User Content does not violate intellectual property rights, does not contain confidential information you are not authorized to share, and is not harmful, illegal, or abusive. We may remove User Content that violates these Terms.
Resumo owns all rights in the platform; AI prompts, datasets, and evaluation rubrics; logos, trademarks, and branding; and backend architecture, APIs, and design. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute any part of the Service without permission.
If Resumo offers paid plans: all fees are listed at checkout; taxes may apply; subscription charges recur until canceled; cancellations are effective at the end of the billing cycle; and we may change pricing or plans with notice.
Resumo stores conversation history, model interactions, logs, and analytics to provide feedback, improve interview quality, enhance user experience, and diagnose issues or detect abuse. You consent to these uses. For details on data handling, refer to our Privacy Policy.
You agree NOT to misuse or overload the system; attempt to extract proprietary prompts or model configurations; use Resumo to generate harmful, discriminatory, or malicious output; upload harmful code or attempt to breach security; or use Resumo for real job interviews, assessments, or candidate evaluations without a commercial license. Resumo may suspend or terminate access if prohibited use is detected.
Resumo may operate in beta, preview, or MVP mode. You acknowledge that features may change or be removed; there may be bugs, outages, or incomplete features; data loss is possible; performance may vary; and Resumo provides the Service “as-is” and “as available.”
Resumo disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including any guarantee of accuracy of AI responses; guarantee of interview results or job placement; and non-infringement, fitness for a particular purpose, or merchantability. Use the Service at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law: Resumo is not liable for lost profits, lost opportunities, data loss, or business interruption. Resumo’s total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months (or $0 for free users). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the minimum permissible.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, cause harm or security risk, or use Resumo fraudulently or unlawfully. You may delete your account at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Resumo constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA (or your specified jurisdiction). Any disputes must be resolved through arbitration or courts in that jurisdiction.
